First Choice Airways - Boeing 767-300ER - Level-D

This is another VA paint. I was asked to do First Choice Livery for Level-D B767-300ER. Both standard and winglet version.

As much as I like Level-D B763 I felt that the stock textures had a lot of issues. So I set about customizing the paintkit and I ended up with the following changes:

• Upgraded the texture size to 2048x2048.
• Completely new fuselage textures; included many new elements that reflect the real aircraft.
• New wing textures; adjusted the lines to match the moving surfaces (within certain limitations), Added extra details, lines, rivets, etc etc.
• New engine textures; again, lines where adjusted to match the moving surfaces and added more details.
• New night textures.
• Customized the Specular maps and Bump maps to match the changes made to the paintkit.

I also ended up making two different cabin layouts; one for the standard (G-OOBL) and another for the winglet (G-OOAN), as per the real aircrafts with those reg. no.

 Of coz' this is for a VA, so I did make some changes from the real aircraft. For example, the web address is of the VA not First Choice Airways. I also decided to paint the winglets rather than keep them plain white.

Philippines Airlines - Boeing 747-8i/747-8F - SkySpirit2011/12

This was a paint that I did on a request. The guy wanted Philippines livery on SkySpirit2011 B747-8i and SkySpirit2012 B747-8F.

I already have these on Avsim, I just didn't have time to update the blog... so here are some screenshots and the links to download.

Sorry for not been so active... for over an year.
I've been really busy with my flight training, which is almost finished. At least I'm done with the theory and exams, so I have a bit more time to work on painting...

I'm working on a few paints, I'll post updates soon.

Jet2.com - Boeing B777-300ER - CaptainSim

This is the fifth livery for the Jet2 virtual airlines. This one is for the stunning B773ER from CaptainSim.

Jet2.com - BAe Avro RJ100 - QualityWings

Forth repaint for Jet2 virtual airlines. This one is based on the beautiful BAe Avro RJ100 from QualityWings. Since I started painting for Jet2 virtual, this is the first time the repaint is based on a real aircraft.

But I really didn't like this livery. I felt that the white fuselage was boring and to see how this model looks on usual silver/red I had go. This was the result:

Jet2.com - Airbus A319-100 - JustFlight

This is the third texture set for the Jet2 virtual airlines. This one is based on JustFlight's Airbus A319 IAE model.

British Caledonian Airways - Airbus 300B4-200 - SGA

This was a request that I started some time ago, but I forgot to complete it. The person who requested, was kind enough to give me a recent reminder and... here she is...

This livery is based on SGA A300 model. The model itself is made for FS9, but all the testing are done on FSX.

I uploaded textures only, you'll require the model for it to work.

Jet2.com - Boeing 777-200 - CaptainSim

This is the second of set of textures for the Jet2 virtual airline. This one is based on CaptainSim B777-200ER model.

I got to admit that this is one the most beautiful external models of a B772 I've ever seen. I'm really thinking of getting this one...

I've been contacted by the owner of www.jet2v.com. Who operates a Jet2 virtual airline. The aircrafts (all payware, btw) to be painted are:

Maldivian - Airbus 320-200 - PA

This is a repaint of Project Airbus A320-200 in Maldivian livery. The actual aircraft itself is very special, because it is the first Airbus for Maldivian airlines (hopefully, more will come soon)

Being a Maldivian, I'm very proud to release this repaint.
I've tried to make this repaint as realistic and accurate as possible, based on pictures available on the net. (Still haven't got the chance to photograph this myself)

As usual, photo real elements, custom night and wing textures. A bit of stain effects and for the first time, I've added dynamic shine.

The package has the full model with the FSX default A321 VC/Panel and sounds.

Air Maldives - Do228/Q200/Q300 - PAD

I was not happy with the level of detail on the Air Maldives Do228 repaint, so I decided to upgrade the paintkits of D0228, Q200 and Q300 to 2048x2048. I think that will give more detail to the textures.

Will post more as soon as I'm done with the paintkit.

Virtual Caledonian Airways - Airbus 330-300 - Tom Ruth

This is a special project for me, because the VA I fly for decided to add Airbus to their fleet. And one of my favorite aircraft at that, the Airbus A330.

The livery is based on my design, from the concepts shared by the VA owner, Richard. This based on the beautiful model from Thomas Ruth. Its made for FSX and comes with a nice VC.

British Caledonian Airways - Boeing 747-8i - SkySpirit2011

Something I've been working on for a while now, initial work was done by Connor Diver. I just took up his work and added the effects.
This repaint is based on the British Caledonian Airways (now extinct) B747-200M with registration G-HUGE. This repaint is made for SkySpirit2011 B747-8i model.

The livery is made as accurately as possible, based on pictures available.
I've added photo-real elements, static reflections, stain and dirt effects to make this repaint as realistic as possible. I've also made custom textures for the wings, AGS and night textures.

Even though the SkySpirit2011 B748i model is made for FS9, it will work for FSX. All testing for this repaint was done on FSX.
